STEPPING UP - ANSWERING THE NEED:
During
a recent visit to Augusta, GA, Earl Cox met with Dr. Sandra Kennedy, senior
pastor of Whole Life Ministries. After hearing of the need, Dr.
Kennedy immediately purchased two shelters and committed to at least one
additional. While in Augusta, Earl appeared as a special guest on
WBPI television, Channel 49. Dorothy Spaulding, host of the program,
talked with Earl at length about Israel and Operation LifeShield. Breaking
with tradition and in spite of her own station’s fundraising needs, Mrs.
Spaulding called upon her viewing audience to support this emergency campaign.
Mrs. Spaulding, her audience and members of her floor crew made donations
to this emergency project in the amount of $3,000.00.
REMEMBER
THE STORY OF THE WIDOW'S MITE...? A middle
aged woman walked up to Dr. Kennedy's receptionist and handed her a bank
check for $31,000.00. She would not give her name saying, "It
does not matter. God knows." While her name is still
a mystery, it was learned that she is an hourly wage
worker who was saving the money "just in case..." Hearing of
this urgent need for portable bomb shelters at church service the night
before, she responded by giving everything trusting that God will provide
should she herself ever have a need. Earl witnessed
this exchange and thought of the widow woman who gave it
all. How
will you respond?

NEVER before have we embarked on a
fundraising campaign of any kind but this is different, this is
URGENT, the need is NOW.
Time is of the essence. Lives are
hanging in the balance. Every cent raised by Israel Always
goes directly to Operation LifeShield for the manufacture and placement of
portable bomb shelters in critical areas throughout Israel. The developers
and founders of Operation LifeShield have asked Earl Cox and his Christian
broadcast partner, Ben Kinchlow, to serve as their official spokespersons
to the Christian community. Having personally experienced the need for
portable bomb shelters during several recent visits to Sderot, one in which
a rocket exploded near his vehicle, Earl has set aside his
regular schedule for the next six months to vigorously campaign for
Operation LifeShield believing it to be the most important opportunity
ever to help Israel. Earl is presently traveling at his
own expense to help support this campaign. He'll be glad to come to your
area to speak about this urgent project.
